INSTALL NEW FONT IN LINUX

By default, linux has provided a lot of fonts. But, there are times when we need a unique font. Fonts that you should install itself.
Here are the steps to install new Fonts in Linux.
1. Make sure that the font file you have to be installed. Font file to ttf extension.
2. Run Mandrake Control Center (MCC) and input the root password when prompted.
3. At MCC, trace [System]> [Fonts] and in the window "Fonts" menu click [Import].
4. The "Import Fonts" will open. Click [Add] and find the font file.
5. If you have met, click the file and click button[Add].
Do it like that so for all the fonts to be installed. When completed, simply click the [Close] in addition to the [Add].
6. Back to the window "Import Fonts", click [Install fonts]. overnight, all fonts will be installed.
7. Close the window "Fonts".

To ensure Fonts installed correctly, go to the text editor application, such as OpenOffice.org.
Try searching for just the fonts installed.
